I did'nt mean anything by my question ............ just did'nt know what the course of action was going to be once there, obviously it will just be a week of socialising/ fishing with a dozen or so bottles of nice vino and fingers crossed some nice weather

No bother on the boat front - would you recommend the wave runner ?  

I know what you mean about self-employment I have been on 3 day weeks since June with the occasional week off completely because there is no work available

I looked at the Hull Ferry (a while ago now) and the prices were very high to say the least - that would be the easiest option though.

I will get hold of Johnny and attempt to get something sorted

Thats nowt compared to the tackle tart I was nattering to last week - he was over the moon about getting some Century Neville (carbon fibre) bank sticks - these things were £30 EACH ............... for a single bank stick ! Then of course he had to have the Century rod rest and rod holder for each of them.

He spent over £200 on basically a new set of bank sticks for his rods - now thats a tart

I finally received my heavy duty 60" net from Simon Clarke last week - looks superb but will have to wait until next year now to actually try it out
