Bit more info, the Katmandoo rods aren't just built on Harrison blanks, they're built by Harrisons themselves.

As Bri says the katmandoo rods are very nice. You can feel the power all the way thruogh the rod but they also have a nice mellow action to them. For the tackle tarts (Brian and Karl) they look nice as well. yes they are expensive but they are Harrison rods.

Hi Carl,
Yes woodys is in corringham, essex. Unfortunatley you cant use liveys at woodys, which is why i dont fish there in the summer. i will give it a go using kebab rigs with chunks of seabaits, squid etc, and also use luncheon meat, mattesons and so on. i may use boilies on 1 rod. i will probably fish 1 rod hard on the bottom, i rod popped up just off bottom and 1 rod mid water. i thik it is a case of trial and error and see what (if anything) works.
How did it go in france by the way?
