I would suggest that you guys going to Millin de Ruchec sart thinking about booking yer ferry tickets.  You've got to do it at sometime and the earlier you do it the cheaper it will be. I did mine 3 weeks ago. I'm going a week earlier as I will be spending a week on the river Saone before going on to Millin de Ruchec.

Sounds like a good idea.  Anyone want to car share???

How is everyone else planning to get there?

Johnny and I are travelling down together in a van. No way the wife would let me go a week earlier as Ebro is calling in April

Had a chat with Eric and he usually goes Portsmouth to Le Havre.  It's £198 at the moment for a car.  But Portsmouth is a long drive from Hartlepool.

I've spoken to Big Trev and we will be travelling together.  I think Eric will be travelling with Stu (Kilo).

That sounds a bargain.  Now to work out how far the lake is from Dunkirk!!!

From Dunkirk to the lake is approximately 320 miles, no idea on tolls though.

i always go Hull -  Zeebruge - its 490 miles from zeebruge to your lake but cuts our 260 miles driving in the UK and that's important when you get back i find.

I looked at the Hull Ferry (a while ago now) and the prices were very high to say the least - that would be the easiest option though.

I will get hold of Johnny and attempt to get something sorted
