Finally broke my old pb (10lb 8oz) for a rainbow trout with a crackin fish of 13lb 8oz. On a corkin day had 7 fish in total and lost another biggy which took me down to the backing twice then straightened the hook

I was going to take my fly fishing gear over with me Maurice as there's trout in the water over there ................ only joking. Catting is my main fishing these days obviously but through the winter its trouting as I am surrounded by very good waters up here.

That's a nice fish chris - where did you get it from? it looks like a nice spot.

you'd get a few nice baits out of one like that !

Jubilee Trout Lakes, Darlington - Lovely place with probably the best fly-tackle shop I have ever been in.

Yeah I would get loads of baits off that beauty but the father-in-law is attempting to blag it and I'm not sure if 6 to 7 months in a freezer would do it any good.

I've fished lochwood beck a few times and had some nice fish out of there - mind you I've never seen so many porches, range rovers, mercedes and BMW's in a fishery car park than last time I fished there - i rolled up in a battered old white ford escort !!!!!

Before I had the kids my season ticket was there for years - had some really good days up there both in the boat and bankside

It would have been perfect size for Ebro cats, too big for them here I'm afraid (probably get shot down in flames now)
