Going to give it a go at Pondwood tomorrow as its a bit late in the season and things are slowing down think I will put 3 of Maurice's biggest leeches on a free line and tell em to just go and get me a cat PMSL.
I think all those knocks I was getting last time were the leeches grabbing passing carp lol.
Fish them on a MJ rig. I drove from Cheshire to his house to pick up some Leeches and took piccys of his rig and its caught every time I have used it since LOL!
The buggers bite though as the last fish I had hit them so hard the hook was down its gut so as I went into it the fekkers nipped me so I am black and blue currently on one hand but mostly from the love bite off the cat.
They are cracking leeches though aren't they.

Took a 22lb fish on them at 05:15 this morning and had a 8lb on livey the day before

Cheers folks I am up to 23 fish for the season I think!! Mostly off single nights as well but next week trying for a 3 nighter to end the season and move on to something simpler like Carp fishing then
