Swale, lamprey for bait, 6lb chub, and double figure pike with the chance of the odd twenty ( I know where ther live he he) anyone joining me. I have slacked on this one over the last couple of years but its good fun. Hard work as its pre dawn untill post dusk and its a travel light job as it can involve a lot of walking but there are some monster chub to be had. In my opinion its one of the countries best chub rivers, and fishing the method I do tends to cut out the smaller ones. Anyone interested just let me know and we will sort out plenty of dates.

I just 'googled' it - i'm obviously not 'down with the kids' - apparently it means 'pissing myself laughing' - which could be seriously messy for Karl if carrying Dave along the river bank - a specialist dvd production me thinks.
I will still be chuckling about that when I am in Iceland soon...............buying my king prawn ring eh dave!! PMSL. I digress though, is it just me dave and carl then??
Well people, it looks like the rivers are getting a good clean out. I hope nobody on here is not affected. As soon as the floods calm down I think its time to start stocking up on the lamps. For those interested in a sessionor two I will let you know when I pencil in the first session.
At least they'll be some water in the rivers now! Let's just hope our winter spots are still accessible!
