Hi Guys,
Trentside Fishery, Burton on Stather apparently has a big cat estimated at 70lb that needs rehoming.
Apparently the water is under licence from the EA to remove and kill the fish.
The owner has been told (allegedly) that she will be fined £1000 per year if it remains in there. She has put a £500 price on this fantastic fishes head! This is all second hand info so i can't gaurantee its accuracy. Does anybody know anywhere (emmotlands, willowbank etc)that would want this fish? £500 would be cheap for a cat that size. they would obviously need a catfish licence and would have to organise a section 30.
Then all that would be required is to catch this allegedly uncatchable beast that is smashing up all the carp boys and eating 10lb bream, again allegedly. I'm sure we could all help out on that front. ![]()
A new moggy magic fish in venue then eh !!!!
With the 'correct' paperwork - I know at least 5 venues that would jump at the chance of the fish....
PMSL - If the story had come from ken, the cat would be 200lb, eats swans and his nephew had it out the week before on a 12m pole!!
