Tight lines !!

We were on Kingfisher in April - rog (welsman) had a 90lber - oops - just seen that this thread is almost a week old - you'll be half way through your holiday by now - how did you get on?
carl
Just had a text from Dave 3 cats so far biggest is 17lb , he aint happy lol but hey that's catting for ya
when do the cats stop biting wot month
normally the end of september - beginning of october - but it depends where you are really - the cats in france should feed all the way through to the beginning of november. In the south of england they'll feed later than here up north. (and of course start earlier too)
But as we all now, if you put the hours in during the winter months they can be caught. Nat on the CCG forum has proved this!
Hi all back from france, as Bri posted i didnt get amongst the cats with just the 3 kittens, biggest 17lb. A fantastic venue though and Paul and Severine are excellent hosts. i'm going back next year for 2 weeks to hopefully crack it. Would thouroughly recommend the place to anyone looking for their first overseas jaunt.
How many carp did you get? Did you get amongst the bigger fish? I know that the biggest fish in Lucie is now 60lb? Its a cracking spot - isn't it. Did you use Paul's boilies????
carl
How did the weigh sling perform was it ok Dave?
Eric
Hi Carl - yes did use Pauls boilies but only had a couple of runs which i missed! It was so hot it was really putting the fish off as when Paul did some water tests the dissolved oxygen levels had fallen through the floor. He is in the process of installing a 4'' pipe between the 2 lakes to hopefully increase water flow and therefore oxygen levels to the lower lake.
Sling was fine mate although the size of fish i caught could have been weighed in a hankie! biggest was only 17lb. i would look at producing a euro version of the sling with an extra arm section and a depth of maybe 30''. I am on Kingfisher next year where the cats average 90lb and they deffo aint gonna fit in my sling!
