sorry not been on for a bit you know what its like . anyway are any of you fine lot off to willow bank this weekend ? .
i will be going friday and i think colind will be going thursday , the weather is meant to be cock on so god willing we hopefully will catch . i am breaking new ground as i have got a dumbell rig to try and colind is going to have a top secret bait to try , cant say any more as would have to kill ya lol.

Dumbell rig this time off year is a killer mate, make sure you have a large supply of livebait. Either the stock ponds or near the lilly pads on lake 2. Keep it out through the day, had loads of runs in the day on the liveys. Cant make it this weekend mate, off to pondwood tomorrow. Will be down there soon though so will keep you informed. Apparently all three ponds are fishing badly at the moment - not a lot being caught at all ...

I think its still not fishing as well as usual , by all accounts.
I was there from Thursday dinnertime to Sunday tea time (lake 3) and just had one cat on a piece of salmon steak. I was intending to make some big boilies, but never found time. Maybe next time.
Cec fished from Friday afternoon to Sunday dinner, and had 4 cats, which is pretty reasonable i suppose, all on liver. His dumbbell rig didn’t get a result.
There were three guys at the other side of the lake, don’t think they had any cats at all.
Carp were spawning like mad for about 12 hours Thursday evening and night, then the lake seemed to go really quiet, nothing much moving about at all.
Don’t know too many details on how well the other lakes are fishing, but nothing special i suspect.
Lake one was absolutely full from Friday teatime to Sunday dinner, no spare swims.

well i think it was fishing very well , but then again i did get 4 so i would wouldnt i . as colin said all fell to liver and they where all from tight on the sides .oh and i had 4 carp and would say the biggest was about 6lb.
