Now I know this has been a heated subject in the past but I am not interested in the sizes of hooks we all use, we have put that one to bed. What I am interested in is what patterns of hooks we all prefere to use. As you all know I swear by the Owner SSW 5111 pattern with the bent eye. Super strong, super sharp and once they go in they rarely come out. I have only ever had one hook pull. Am interested to see if everyone uses the eagle wave or if some of us out there are willing to look past their noses and experiment and look at what is actually out there.

tried circle but seeing as I ain't caught for a while its a premature ejec erm strike I forget I have them on so my own fault I lost fish.
Bought a few different patterns my favourite looking ones are Daiichi circles (don't ask why) I hope I catch on these soon they are suppose to get better after they have been used a few times. Getting a run on them would be nice.
The others are GLT (just part of a shopping basket online) and also some OWNER Gorilla Live Bait hooks.
Just need a venue to test them all where I manage to get runs
I have bought some of the Owner SSW 5111 from you recomendations a couple of weeks back .......... I also use the eagle wave hooks which were very good to me on my last session as I caught all 4 cats on them (had 2 baits on each style of hook but only caught on the eagles).
We must have a word with Terry and try to get him over as well for a 24 hr session.
