Cant make it mate, have to watch my holiday days with the wedding, fish in and dvd filming. Will let you know next time I am planning a day down there. We have some more filming to do there so will keep you informed.

Can you phone the owner and inform him we are coming down (I think you need to do that but I could be wrong). I think I will arrive around 7pm but that is entirely depandant upon the traffic on my way down - I will be setting off at 5pm in anycase. If lake 3 is full we can just go on lake 1 for some big girls.
If you get there before me (and I bet you doo) I am counting on you getting some livvey's ready (oh and can you bring some of those lovely worms again). Got some lovely deadbaits yesterday so we can use them if nothing else. I will bring a different type of sausages for breakfast this time.

Yeah its mainly gonna start to lash down late thursday night and all day friday according to the bbc. But as its my birthday on Saturday and my daughters on Monday I will only get the chance to go thursday night and all day friday, so I am going regardless of the weather - at least its not supposed to be cold.

Just turn up mate, mick is not bothered about you ringing ahead. Forgot it is good friday, yes I am off. Got loads of plans over the weekend, might manage to get a night in somewhere over the weekend, not sure where though. You have my number so just keep me informed as to how you go.
Will text you how I get on, tactics this time will be dead roach in half, liver and worms - I am also taking lamprey and luncheon meat as my back-ups if I can only get on lake 1.

Now then people I went on Thursday night and all day Friday last week and caught 4 (thats right 4) catfish ................. 31lb at 9.05pm, 27lb at 2.45, 29lb at 8.45am and a 19lb at 11.45am.
Truly my best ever fishing session. I caught all the cats on KIDNEY's (thought I had actually bought liver at the time), did'nt get a bite on deadbaits or worms.
Big thanks to the lads who took photos for me (I am trying to load them - tried once and they missed half the photo off) and a massive thanks to Johnny for dropping more kidneys off for me.
I can now fish for the rest of the season happy in the knowledge I have broken my previous pb 4 times on one session.
