ya see so many carp lads on the bank with tons of bait an tackle. but if were out for a 48 hour session on cats wat do we really need to take with us. the basics lol...
I cant really criticise the carp lads as i fill my Astra Estate for the same lenth of time on the bank.
I am the same as you Terry .............. gonna have to buy a barrow of some description so its easier to move it all - usually takes 2 or 3 trips backwards and forwards to the swim
Hi Chris i have a Large Trolly thingy & it still takes me 3 trips
I just lay all my tackle out before any trip and ask myself if I really need.
Bugger that Terry .............. having said that I bet your boat and its accessories takes one trip up
in answer to the question
bivvy, over wrap, pegs, spare pegs, cooker, water - 10 litres per 24 hours (just incase), bed chair, sleeping bag, cover - extra cover in case its cold - spare clothes - full set, chair, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, mug - at least x 2 in case you get a visitor - cooking utensils, reading material - normally an angling times to see the country's latest cat catches - a good book - beer.
Brolly - wellies, waders / dry suit - scales, camera, spare scales, weigh mat, weigh sling - landing net, spare landing net - set of rods + spare - reels. spare line - box of bits and rigs - plus at least enough spare kit to cover all eventualities at 2am
Bait boat - bait - boilies, chunks, deadbaits, livebaits, frozen meat, frozen fish, bucket of worms, leeches, luncheon meat, sweetcorn, hemp, pellets (various sizes shapes and oil contents).
rod holdall, rucksac, bobbers, swingers, leads, bait boat, flask - food (enough to feed 10 - just in case), pillow
have I forgotten anything ???? - mobile phone, bank sticks, rod rests alarms, sounder box - the wife (in which times the above by 2)
more than one barrow full anyway !!!
