anyone tried these in the sea
going to spain tomoz and wonder whether or not to try some in the harbour
need the question answering before 5pm if poss otherwise catch you soon
a mate of mine used large amounts of 22mm ones in chains (similar to ebro tactics) to catch conger eels, had them up to 55lb on pellets. apparently they disolve a lot quicker in the sea though because of the current and salinity.
i've heard that smaller pellets are good for mullet too, but you might want to use a hook slightly smaller then you would for bleak.
Slain
I used fish flavoured pop ups on the top of a two hook rig to keep my baits away from the crabs. I also used to use big pellets ive had whiting, pollack and cod on pellets. Give em a good soak first to release a scent trail in the tide. I also sometimes used to use double pva bag filled with pellets around the lead. As long as its streamlined it will still cast a good distance.
cheers for the info only thought of it today bit late to soak as I'm off in a few hrs
Think it will be the spinners and take pot luck may not even get out for any yet
