i thought it might be a good idea to have a place for a library of sorts of rigs being either photos or dawings. i will start with my favourite two rigs. the top one is a bolt rig with rig tubing and leadcore wire wrapped around the end, the second one is a running rig on leadcore.
Nice looking Carp rigs Nick,lol.
Very nice looking carp rigs. This is gonna be so funny. Shocked johny with some of my rigs yesterday, oh and by the way I have come up with a river rig that looks so good and presents a popped up bait so naturally it gave he a hard on. Will sort some pics of it out. Its a variation of the helicoptor rig but the key is in how you mount the bait. It sits perfect in the flow and just wobbles around in the current so naturally you have to look twice to spot the fish is dead. The rattles are not gonna be much use with it but I am wondering if a spinner blade might kick ass. Will post up the rig and get your opinions.

well carp rigs that catch two 40's in a season without night fishing are fine by me! lol.

some people say fishing is better then sex, but it sounds like you've found a way to combine the two.
only joking m8, can't wait to see the new rig.
I will probably get stick for it and its probably been thought of already but I was impressed. the pike like it too. Will set it up next week and get some pics.
sounds good. if it's as good as you say, i'll give it a go for pike this winter.
Its a running water rig mate so if its river pike you are after then I will be interested to see how you do. Will get some pics sorted but I have had an idea for a modification that I will work on. The trick is mounting the bait, the rig itself is not that new but the way I mount it makes it look really natural.
as it happens there is a narrow fast strech of river that holds only a few pike that i'm gonna fish a bit this winter. the pike go up to 25lb with three known 20's in the river, but it's hard so it will be interesting to see if your rig helps at all.
im off for a bit of fun dead baiting on the river tomorrow after work.
will get the photos up as soon as i can.
i take it that's what you caught your cat on then, Russ?
nop i got mine on a hair riged 14mm halbut pellet
i usually use the three rigs on this page, but i do use a rig basically just a hooklink tied to unsliced leadcore with a double-grinner (shckleader) knot for deadbaits. that's just about it for cats though i am experimanting with a rig that allows me to use more then one hair at a time, but it's still in R&D stage at the mo.
