cheers guys. caught it on a 22mm halibut pellet fished over about 1/4 kilo of pellet and 30 homemade boilies. in the daytime too, lol.

i cant go much higher, m8. all i can hope for is to catch the same one at a higher weight. i'm gonna stop catting for the season now probly, quit while i'm ahead, lol.

yea lol probs best to end the season on a high note

that's what i'm going to do. maybe try to best my eel PB so there's still a chance of a cat if one turns up.

it seems that the later in the season we gat the more come out in the daytime. maybe they're trying to get away from the cold nights.

no its cos there fattening up for the winter

maybe, m8. could be the reduced pressure, coz most of the summer guys have moved off for the winter, so they're not as spooky.

no there getting ready for there semi hibernation hence why the season ends if they carried on feeding through the winter like they do in the summer we'd still fish for them in winter

true they're probably just feeding hard while the water's a bit warmer in the daytime.
