what you think it stinks a really old one it may pick them up
All i will say mate is carp, its one of those that if you are willing to persevere it may work but other fish will have a go.
o yea but i am thinking a 6 oz block carp will pick but they have to work hard to get any off where a cat will just pick the full lump up
Anything is worth a go mate. Have caught a fair few double figure barbel on cheese paste so why not?
only thought about it cause i hade a cheese sarny the other day and it stunk
You really are an animal!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
Hey boys you don't need a big block of cheese thought everyone knew about it so haven't mentioned it before one whole baby bell on a hair took loads of cats on it last year at pondwood and too big for the carp to get in thier mouths.
Just picked up some camembert ready for a try, its a bit smelly so in theory it should work.????
i know that catfish love anything fll of protien and cheese certainly is, the babybell is a good idea, due to it's consistency, have you thought about injecting it?
wat about trying stilton that stuff smells awfull lol
hard to keep on the hair... the carp would obliterate a soft cheese like it was a method feeder, just like little stuff do to luncheonmeat.
yea but it could be used as an attractent with something like babybel fished over it
good idea, cheese is PVA friendly, so you could slide a big PVA bag up the hooklink full of cheese, and covered with some liquidised cheese, and use a whole cheese string on the hair with a babybell on eithr end, now that's what i call a dumbell rig!
i will concede, that's one bait i would not use with a size 4, lmao.
also worth tying mashing a soft cheese and filing a squid full of it, then sow it up the end and poke holes in it.
worth trying, mebby over a bed of spodded chopped squid and cheese. mind you, if you were wandering around and you saw a squid that smelled of bad cheese, what's the first thing you'd do? of course you'd eat it.
just had another good idea, blue cheese boilies. next trip to morrisons, i'm gonna get some stinky blue cheese, see what i can do wityh it. i'd love to see a carp that could eat a 45mm boilie, too!
