I love the sound of this Kev. Very interested in this bait too. I hope I speak for the rest of the lads here when i say that you can expect a moggymagic team or two. Will have plenty of merchandise going by then so the moggymagic teams will be well kitted out. Might be able to organise some magazine coverage too. Got a few friends who write an article or two. I like the charity idea, as you may have seen am gonna organise a fish in for the moggymagic members to all get together next year and would be interested to maybe tie in your charity, I hope you would be able to support the fish in. Its still just an idea i am throwing out there at the moment but I am getting good feedback and if we do get a charity involved i hope i could rely on your support getting it off the ground, any help or advise you could give would be very very welcome.

Have you any ideas of the sort of date this event will be taking place?

Sorry have been in Spain and just got back , the timing of the event is yet to be confirmed but we are looking at end of May early June to try an avoid holiday clashes yet giving the cats time to wake up a bit.

Nice one Kev, Got our first little one coming in march so I should be able to make it by then. Will you reserve me two teams please from this site, it might end up being three but i cannot confirm that but i should get two teams no problem. What venues are you looking at, Pondwood sounds decent and they just held that big match at lakemore. Decent sized complex by the sound of it.

I am ringing John at Celtic Lakes tomorrow to make an appointment to go and see him to discuss the venue and the competition.Will update you all after our meeting and will start setting dates,venue and ticket prices. I have spoke to Mark at Lakemore and Dennis has offered Sale to us so watch this space.
Ann from Stapeley Angling is ringing round the trade to try and blag some raffle prizes , if anyone in the trade reads these threads all contributions are welcome for this very good cause.
The ticket price will include two days and two nights fishing on the venue we choose, one Katmandoo Katpack per pair and will also include a commemorative tee to keep.

Oh and fellas once kev comes back to me about specifics for the charity event, such as prices and dates and such i will be needing 3 members to represent the site. I have got us two teams for the event and kev says I can have a stall in the trade section so even if you cant make it to fish or dont get picked i hope you will show your support at the day. I am getting on organising this now because if i dont keep on top of it then soon i just wont have time. The full range of merchandise that i will be selling on the website will be available hopefully at the end of the month. Off to finalise things tomorrow. I will be supplying a full set to the members of the teams and I have promised kev a set for a raffle prize on the day. The range will initially include polo tops, t-shirts, fleeces, wooly hats, baseball caps, and hand towels. All printed or embroided with the site name as a logo, and if you want to be flash you can even have you name on them too. Full details and prices will appear on the site at the end of the month...ish.

Nice one eric. I hope as many of us as possible will be there, will need someone to man the stand while i am winning that trip to france!lol. It might be wise to get your name on your next t shirt dan, you know you get easily confused. lol. With regards the moggymagic gear i have almost finalised things with the suppliers. The first stuff will be available for you all to view and order from the main site in about three weeks. There will also be hoodies available. The logos on the t shirts will be printed on as it gives more flexibilty if anyone wants theirs personalised. All the other gear will have a nice subtle embroided logo. Very smart. Also whoever represents the site at the match, their gear will be slightly different, but still really cool.
