To be honest mate not to that venue. Its not like anything you will have fished before. Seriously the only bait that the carp dont rip to pieces are fresh, freshwater deadbaits. I have been plagued by carp on mackerel, squid, lamprey, liver, everything but skimmers and roach. they wont go near them. Chris has talked me into another pop at fosse hill friday night, can you make it? That would be the kind of place i would suggest trying them. Honestly mate they wont last two minutes at willowbank. By all means you can bring them and give them a go, but dont say i didnt warn you. ha ha.

Yes mate chris wants the reed one, was thinking i might drop in on that corner peg the other side of those reeds. We will have all that bottom end covered between the three of us then.

Evo has had a 35 and sandy has had a couple of thirties too mate but its a headbanger. Not that great a venue to fish either, gets really busy with carp lads. Not keen but I know them too love it. Where do you normally fish?

yea love it down there going to night i have had a 38 a 34 and a little kitten twice. there is a 44 in there a 42 has been out 2 weeks ago but karl is right its a head banger and if you go down friday or sat the carp lads are there in numbers thing is after the floods last june no 1 really knows where the cats really are some one caught a 23lb from one last week .
