Just mailed mark and there are plenty of options depending how many get off their ass and sign up. If it means just booking horseshoe then no problem, its flexible at the moment so beginning of january I will look at the response and go from there. I will warn you all though this has took a lot of doing to even get a venue of like lakemore to entertain us and if it does not get a decent turn out then I will think twice about doing it again and will just stick to planning small things. SOme feedback on your thoughts would be nice, if you would all prefere smaller local things just say and I can get on the case with them and just make the lakemore thing a small event. I am trying to book out the whole venue because previous feedback suggested thats what you wanted. I try to pamper to your every need so tell me what you want and I will try my best to sort it.

I can only pre book on a large scale for midweek. No venue will offer a booking like this for weekends.
early september at Lakemore is good for me. I will have been on a few cat weekends by then and will be a force to be reckoned with lol. Karl I understand your frustrations and aprehensions about getting enough members to commit, I too am organising a Cat social for early July, I am expecting there to be places available and will publish venue and dates nearer the time on Moggy magic for anyone who wishes to attend. Likewise if you are struggling to fill swims for this one PM me and Ill spread the word to my other friends.

Ok people, here its all signed and sealed. I have confimation from mark, we have 21 pegs booked at lakemore from 7pm on 2nd of Setember for 48 hours. Thats Long lake and Horseshoe lake all booked for us. The price is 40quid for the 48 hours which in my view is a steal. There is a big discount off that so I hope you will all make every effort to turn up. Its an offer that doesnt come along often at that price and Mark has been fantastic to accomodate us so I hope you will all join me in saying a big thank you to mark for making this offer. As it stands at the moment there is room for any member to bring a friend, convert some more to the ways of the wels, lol. If we end up over booked then there is room to accomodate more by doubling up in pegs so dont worry if you think it is filling up. Keep the confirmations coming as it will be a great couple of days and I know that mark and his team of bailiffs will be on hand to provide support to anyone who wants it. Having looked at the rules the only slight downer as far as i am concerned is they don't allow live bait
Also just remembered Terry told me to get a 50" net - anyone used the catfish-pro net ? just after some ideas
